Mind You is an online mental health service that provides assessment and preventive therapies. Moreover, it is a Tech company that focuses on the people that it serves. That means Mind You’s technology is the best in the industry, making Preventative Therapy Sessions as easy to access as Grab or FoodPanda. The team is built up by the best at their chosen skill. The leaders serve to make their staffs work more effectively and efficiently to get the best out of each individual. Generally, Mind You is a mental health service that focuses on the provision of professional mental health preventive programs offered via video conference, phone call or chat.

Mind You was established with the goal of creating happier, healthier and more productive workforces. The eMental Health platform was conceptualised in January 2020 because of the growing need for easier access to preventative mental health care. The development was then fast-tracked and launched due to the demand created by the global pandemic. Hereby, virtual mental healthcare will fulfil the unmet need for clients traditionally underserved by other mental health practitioners. There are some scientific sources stating that online mental healthcare has been shown to be effective for clients who may have difficulty reaching person-to-person appointments with Psychologists during normal business hours, while decreasing the number of missed appointments for in-person therapy.

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced software developer who has a deep understanding of the development process and technologies. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems and leading the development effort on large projects. They will also mentor and guide junior developers, and help to establish best practices and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads the design and development of complex software systems.
• Writes clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborates with other team members and stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensures the quality of code through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Recommends new tools and processes to improve development efficiency and reliability.
• Leads technical discussions and makes technical decisions.
• Works with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contributes to the development of software architecture and design.

Requirements 

• 6+ years of experience in web or mobile development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in software development and coding.
• Strong experience with multiple programming languages and technologies specifically on javascript, python and flutter.
• Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in leading development teams and delivering high-quality software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
